5/9/11 From Port Hedland to Robe River

We left the bustle and business of Port Hedland behind.  On the way we ate lunch at Port Samson.  It is a sleepy little town  with beautiful blue skies and aqua water.

The wild flowers are coming out. Mauve Mulla Mulla is in full bloom everywhere and there are lots of Sturt's Desert Peas stretching across the rocks.

We spent the night in a free 24 hour stopping place on the side of the Robe River along with many other campers.
